Claim Vendor Quality Reinspector

Reinspect open and closed claims involving contractors from the Chubb Trusted Service Network and other vendors to validate the loss inspection, nature of the loss, coverage provided, scope of damage, and construction estimate.

The selected candidate may also be asked to assist the Property Field Staff in validating the reconstruction process is moving ahead within expected timelines and other ad hoc tasks. Further, the selected candidate will conduct periodic meetings with the preferred vendors in their assigned territory to provide quality and customer service feedback in order to improve the overall quality of Chubb’s Trusted Service Network as well as act as the primary resource for complaint resolution involving network vendors.

The selected candidate will work with the First Party Audit Team and core leadership team to identify OSA(Outside Adjuster) training opportunities in the application of technology and the adherence to the Property Best Practices Guidelines; contact policyholders and Independent adjusters; maintain an active diary of re-inspections and training opportunities; adhere to all statutory regulations and unfair claim practices acts; adhere to Chubb’s Code of Conduct standards: effectively communicate with all internal and external customers

Primary location: Denver Colorado Area

PLEASE NOTE:

The position is a remote position working out of your home or local branch. Travel throughout the assigned territory is required with the occasional need for overnight travel to more remote areas. Travel outside of your assigned territory may be required to support other offices with catastrophic losses. 

*Outside of your regular duties you may be asked to contribute to the property discipline needs in varying capacities.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Industry credentials such as AIC, SCLA or CPCU are a plus.

The pay range for the role is $$84,000 to $142,800. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.

 

Knowledge of insurance contracts, investigative techniques, legal requirements and regulations; an ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal (Home Office Claim Management, the First Party Audit Team, Field Claim staff) and external (policyholder, agent, vendor) customersA strong demonstrated knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, CoreLogic Tools, Symbility and/or Xactimate, and the Tablet PCKnowledge of current construction methods and costs; an ability to write their own estimates and complete both a contents and building (personal/commercial) valuationExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service orientationStrong analytical and negotiation skills; experience in training others on claim handling practices; a strong understanding of the Property Best Practices Guidelines
