**Job Title: Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster (Iowa and Indiana)** **Location: Remote** **Duration: 3+ Months** **Pay Rate:$35/hr** **Overview:** We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster with 5-10 years of experience handling lost time claims in Iowa and Indiana. Experience in Kentucky is a plus. The candidate will manage claims, ensure compliance with state regulations, and minimize costs while driving positive outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** + Handle lost time Workers’ Compensation claims for Iowa and Indiana (Kentucky is a plus). + Evaluate and establish action plans for medical and indemnity claims. + Conduct investigations, take statements, and determine claim eligibility. + Maintain accurate reserves and manage claim settlements. + Collaborate with healthcare providers for medical updates and billing approvals. + Approve bills and manage work objects for adjusters. + Manage litigation with legal counsel and pursue subrogation when possible. + Participate in team huddles and claims discussions. **Requirements:** + 5-10 years of Workers’ Compensation claims experience in Iowa and Indiana (Iowa is mandatory). + Bachelor's Degree preferred. + Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and claims management systems. + Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.
