Position Overview:
The Claims Administration Specialist will oversee the review, validation, and processing of customer reimbursement requests related to services performed by the customer’s own contractor, for work covered by their HomeServe USA repair plans. HomeServe processes over 8,000 customer reimbursement claims yearly. This role is responsible for reviewing and making coverage decisions for customer’s reimbursements, while adhering to established processes and meeting key performance metrics. The reimbursements are subject to review including, but not limited to, validating coverage & benefit limits, cost comparisons, and contractor verification, while still adhering to established SLAs and exceeding customer satisfaction standards. The Claims Administration Specialist will collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, customer escalation & frontline teams, and Contractor Management leadership to ensure accurate and timely resolution of reimbursement requests are in line with underwriting guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Process customer reimbursement requests within established SLAs by reviewing invoices, verifying coverage & remaining benefit limits, and making coverage decision before working with Accounts Payable to pay the customer. Create & file claims for each reimbursement job that requires payment to the customers. Accurately document conversations, agreements, and actions taken with customers and contractors regarding job costs and tasks. Proactively communicate with customers to advise of claim status and adhere to departmental KPI’s. Build excellent customer and contractor relationships during every interaction. Stay up to date with knowledge of HomeServe repair plan terms, updates, and exceptions. Work with AP department on customer and contractor payments Coordinate with internal departments to ensure reimbursement requirements are met & communicated correctly to customers. Deliver excellent customer service in every interaction with HomeServe customers and contractors. Assist in other Administrative duties as assigned by leadership.Job Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Proficient with computer applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Accurate & efficient data entry Exceptional organizational, time management, and independent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Self-starter and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to build and maintain professional relationships within a stressful and fast paced environment. Strong customer service track record. 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in administration, compliance, claims or other related industry. Broad knowledge of home repair methods such as plumbing, HVAC, and electricalIn return, we offer:
