The position involves being “on call” which requires response to critical claims outside of normal business hours. Preferred qualifications include: • Experience handling large losses, injury and property damage, including commercial properties • Experience in all aspects of handling litigated cases • Demonstrated skills in investigation, negotiation and evaluation • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously • Experience in all aspects of handling litigated cases • Strong investigative skills. • 6-20 or 5-20 Florida Adjuster’s License • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Bilingual is a plus **Job Overview** This job is responsible for handling personal injury and major property damages claims asserted by or against the company. **Job Duties & Responsibilities** • Investigates, evaluates and negotiates satisfactory settlements of personal injury and major property damage claims • Provides support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process, including court testimony • Performs other job-related duties as assigned **Required Qualifications** • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL) • High School Grad / GED • Experience: 4+ years **Preferred Qualifications** • Bachelor's Degree NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
