Description We are on the lookout for a Claims Analyst to join our team in the Healthcare industry, located in Birmingham, Alabama. The role of the Claims Analyst is primarily to carry out data processing tasks, maintain accurate records, and handle customer inquiries. This position also involves interfacing with multiple departments and providing customer service to providers and members. Responsibilities include: + Oversee customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed to address any account-related issues. + Input all claims into the system to facilitate claims processing efficiently. + Reconcile and confirm the accuracy of all posted and generated information. + Handle monthly client billing processes while maintaining precise records of pending, denied, processed, and paid claims. Requirements • Possession of relevant skills in Claim Administration, essential for the accurate processing and handling of medical claims. • Proficiency in Data Entry, with a particular focus on numeric data entry, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of high volumes of data. • Experience in High-Volume 10-key Data Entry, demonstrating the ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. • Familiarity with Insurance Claims, providing a broader context for the role and its place within the overall healthcare industry. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, essential for managing and analysing large data sets, and creating reports. • Experience in Answering Inbound Calls, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
