Key Responsibilities
Responsible for handling New Claim Intake/Submissions for multiple Line of Business.
Ensure claim intake/set up are entered accurately and in a timely fashion
Handle/finalize coverage position letters, including Issue Indemnity Check payments correspondence.
Prepare Loss Runs for assigned Attorneys.
Prepare FedEx labels.
Scanning mail and labeling/printing documents into appropriate file.
Set up Travel Arrangements (airline, hotel, car services for Claims Attorneys) and enter travel expenses.
Assist Claims Attorneys with the management of litigation including initial contact with defense counsel and supplying defense counsel with all relevant documentation during the life of a claim.
Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
High school diploma required
2-year college degree preferred
2-5 years' experience in the insurance, legal or financial industry
Proficient skill level in MS Office
Must be detailed oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
Ability to review and revise correspondence
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to use computer software and database applications related to supporting Claims Department which consists of a paperless environment

Kisko, NY the reasonable pay range for this specific position is $43,100-$64,700 annually. “The salary offered for this specific position is based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
