***** CLAIMS ASSOCIATE | INTERVIEWS HAPPENING THIS WEEK!!***** Job Type : Claims Associate / Claims Assistant Location : Saddle Brook, NJ Pay : $20 to 22 an hour A national insurance company is looking for a Claims Associate to join their team. This person will be responsible for guiding callers to the appropriate party based on their needs and performing basic clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. What you'll be responsible for: + Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing paper documents, email, calendar management, and word processing. + Handle claim files (locate/request files, file paperwork, reconstruct missing files, move misfiled documents, send to other offices). + Retrieve, print, and fax or mail supporting documentation to vendors or others as directed. + Take first notice of loss claims, explain the basic claim process, and provide general information to customers. + Receive, screen, and route incoming telephone calls and other electronic correspondence. + Contact or receive contact from customers or other claim-related third parties to obtain and/or provide necessary file information to comply with quality and process standards. + Follow established guidelines specific to each claim report or inquiry. What you’ll bring: + 1+ years of administrative experience + Experience in the insurance industry + Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Outlook) + High School Diploma + Effective verbal and written communication skills + Time management skills from a global case management and pending perspective (vs. transactional) + Problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to detect differences and issue recognition from multiple sources What you’ll get: + Benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.) + Exposure to a leading organization + Gain experience and grow within the department Interviews are happening this week! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
