**How does this role contribute to our collective success?**
The Business Analyst is ultimately responsible for the facilitation, elicitation, and documentation of business and functional requirements for a specific project initiative. The Business Analyst is a critical link between the Business and technical teams and supports the delivery of enhancements and projects. The Business Analyst must have a firm grasp of Business needs, objectives, strategic vision, and advocate for the Business. The Business Analyst must be knowledgeable on Claims Admin applications and possess a strong understanding of Claims Business processes and operations. The Business Analyst must have experience developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process diagrams, storyboards, and use cases.
**What will you do in this role?**
+ Lead the facilitation, capture, review, and documentation of business requirements.
+ Produce analysis and requirements deliverables based on IT Lead and SME guidance, including business capability matrix, detailed requirements, and user stories.
+ Create communication and training materials, as needed.
+ Enforce Business Analysis standards, templates, and processes.
+ Support the delivery of the Business roadmap by partnering with stakeholders and functional lead(s) to identify opportunities, process issues, and capability needs.
+ Liaise between technical and non-technical team members to answer day to day business questions as supported by the Business Leads and SMEs.
+ Conduct walkthroughs with project team members and business leads.
+ Understand and manage to the defined project scope.
+ Work with QA and Business SMEs (UAT) to ensure requirements traceability and coverage within test cases.
+ Promote change management principles with executives, senior leaders, managers, and supervisors to influence, build relationships, and manage resistance.
+ Provide support during end user training, UAT, and post production deployment, as needed.
You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.

**What you need to have:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science preferred.
+ 5+ years of Business Analysis experience preferred.
+ 3+ years Duck Claims Admin System (or similar Claims Admin application) experience required.
+ Experience developing Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process diagrams, storyboards, use cases, and presentations required.
+ Experience with Microsoft platforms including Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint preferred.
+ Proficiency with software/systems commonly used to manage Programs/Projects (MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, TFS, Azure DevOps, JIRA).
+ Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in person and remotely.
+ Dedicated and detail oriented.
+ Collaborative and conscientious team player.
+ Excellent Analytical skills.
**What we prefer you to have:**
+ 3+ years of Commercial / Specialty Insurance industry experience preferred.
+ 3+ years of Duck Creek Policy (or similar PAS systems) experience preferred.
+ 1+ years of Structured Query Language (SQL) experience preferred.
+ Experience with Reinsurance is a plus.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 (GA). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
In addition, you will be offered competitive target incentive compensation, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance. On top of this, you will be eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package which includes medical plans for you and your family, health and wellness programs, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, and much more.
