Job Description

The Claims Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives relative to the evaluation, processing, and handling of incidents and claims. This role acts as a liaison between Raising Cane’s insurance providers, customers, and crewmembers regarding the status and eligibility of coverage for all relevant claims. Additionally, they will provide updates to the Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) as necessary, answers inquiries, and makes recommendations for resolution and or resolves complicated issues. 

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

Addresses and handles customer and crewmember related issues through both verbal and written correspondenceSupports the maintenance of the RMIS System with all claims and incident data and reportingDevelops and maintains very strong positive relationships with restaurant managers, field management, insurance claims adjusters, insurers, and brokersHandles day to day claim issues between Raising Cane’s and its property, casualty insurers, adjusting firms, brokers, and vendorsManages 3rd party property damage incidents and subrogation needsReviews and downloads video footage upon requestAssists with Crew Safety and claims projects as neededOversees the crewmember return to work program and the company vehicle programCoordinates the addition of new locations to the insurance programManages the allocations program for all crewmembersProvides reporting for all Crew Safety functions and handles complex incidents and claimsAssists with loss prevention, security, safety, and OSHA investigationsAssists with onboarding new RSO CrewmembersQualifications2+ years of customer service experience with a proven record of successFor Raising Cane’s internal promotion: Minimum of 12 months as a Restaurant Manager or higher, in good company standing, and a proven track record of meeting performance standardsKnowledge of quick service and fast casual restaurants or other customer service-based industry is preferredDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changingSelf-driven, flexible, and energetic with advanced skills in listening, written, and verbal communicationAble to comprehend and record communication details completely and accuratelyAble to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaborativelySelf-aware with the ability to exercise good judgement and maintain strict confidentiality when handling highly sensitive informationAble to work full-time at the Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TXProficient in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word College degree in a related field preferredAdditional Information
