As a Claims Intake Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing essential administrative support to our claims/safety team. Provide administrative support to the claims/safety department by performing tasks such as data entry and document management.Assist in the processing and tracking of claims by gathering necessary information, reviewing documents, and updating claim files. Daily Incident Intake – review division selections for accuracy and make changes as necessary (preventability, subrogation, NTD, incident description, cause type, etc.)Daily Review of DriveCam Videos – review DriveCam videos and save to appropriate claim folder; communicate with division personnel to ensure videos are reported in a timely mannerAct as the main point of contact for incoming calls and emails, providing timely and accurate responses or routing to the appropriate team member.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of claim information, including correspondence, reports, and other documentation.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective handling of claims and timely resolution for customers.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and discretion in accordance with company policies.Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the claims department and the company.Need a minimum of two (2) years of either administrative and/or claims experience.Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are also essential.
