We are seeking talented attorneys at all multiple levels of trial complexity and case handling to join an in-house expanding legal team for a well-established and successful company offering a great culture, commitment to legendary service and competitive compensation package.
This position provides representation to insureds and the insurer in all legal proceedings including trial and arbitration.
Responsibilities:
Provide first chair legal representation of insureds to protect their interests in defense of personal injury and property damage lawsuits.
Develop litigation strategy and manage individual insurance defense cases, including responding to pleadings, discovery, depositions, attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Qualifications:
1-3 years defense litigation experience
Lead trial or arbitration experience and significant experience handling all phases of insurance defense litigation cases.
Excellent writing, oral, and case management skills
Have ability and willingness to proactively communicate with clients, claims staff and other members of Staff Counsel.
Admission to the California State Bar
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and complexity of cases.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$88,300.00 - $117,700.00Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
