Job Skills / Requirements The Claims Manager is responsible for investigation and oversight of all workers compensation, general liability, and auto claims to minimize the Company’s financial exposure and future experience. Role includes processing and assessing each claim and working with third party insurance carriers, attorneys, physicians, and other involved parties to ensure proper benefits are paid, Company policies and procedures are followed, and claims are fairly and expeditiously resolved. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and direct company managers in post-accident handling of all claims, including but not limited to, workers compensation, GL, and auto - Coordinate and monitor vocational rehabilitation - Provide analysis on claims made, cost, duration, and preventability to safety partners, legal, and operations as requested - Coordinate investigations and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences - Build and maintain relationships at all appropriate levels of management and control functions, (for example, legal and compliance) to share best practices to address common control or risk concerns, increasing the level of management understanding in terms of emerging risks that impact their business - Prepare and provide regular status reports to senior management concerning critical issues and significant concerns pertaining to company risk. - Serve as key liaison with third party insurance and safety partners - Ensure complete and accurate files of all related materials - Other daily, weekly, monthly duties as assigned Required Skills and Qualifications - Preferred minimum 3-6 years’ experience managing workers compensation and high value general liability claims - Independent, self-motivated - Strong understanding of insurance, workers compensation, and claims investigations - Highly organized, ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Excellent computer skills and software literacy - Position will require travel, including overnights and weekends, up to 25% #Priority&Leadership2025 Education Requirements (Any) Bachelor's Degree Associate's Degree Certification Requirements (Any) OSHA Certified Safety Professional with ASSP Additional Information / Benefits Benefits: Medical Insurance, Life Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Days, Paid Holidays, 401K/403b Plan This job reports to the Director of Safetu This is a Full-Time position 1st Shift.
