Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Claims Representative in a location in the United States. This role is primarily in-office, requiring adaptability in a dynamic work environment. As a Claims Representative, you will be handling multiple programs simultaneously and applying feedback promptly for constant improvement. The role is integral to our operations, requiring a high level of emotional intelligence and a flexible approach.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the initiation of claims, ensuring all details are accurate and complete
• Conduct thorough audits of claims to maintain high standards of accuracy
• Manage the status of claims, updating records and systems as required
• Process claims efficiently, utilizing your skills in Claims Processing
• Carry out complex calculations as part of the claims process
• Ensure the timely payout of claims, maintaining customer satisfaction
• Maintain a high level of attendance, recognizing its importance in this role
• Be open to receiving and applying feedback for continuous detail-oriented growth
• Demonstrate adaptability by managing multiple screens and programs concurrently
• Maintain a flexible mindset, acknowledging the work hours can vary.
Requirements • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as a Claims Representative.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting claims audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Proficient in interpreting and analyzing claims data to identify trends, anomalies and potential fraud.
• In-depth knowledge of claims processing, including understanding of policy coverage and determining claim liability.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficient in using computer software and applications related to claims management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in claims management or insurance will be an added advantage.
