Inviting applications for the role of Claims Trainer
In the Claims Trainer role, you will be responsible for training and development of Claim Adjusters and Leadership. Leveraging your domain expertise and your experience educating adjusters on claim best practice, state-specific laws and regulation, technology, and standard operating procedures, you will have a strong influence on improving the outcomes of the customer’s claim experience.
In this role, you will work with the Leadership team and QA Team to identify training needs and create the training material and conduct training sessions. In addition, design the feedback mechanisms with the QA team to measure and ensure adoption of training and growth all claim staff.
Responsibilities
· Strong teamwork and organizational skills to design, create, and deploy assigned training activities within the Claim Department.
· Constant evaluation of training and claim staff effectiveness through feedback mechanism and adjust training plans and materials accordingly.
· Ability to develop compelling training materials.
· Strong aptitude and successful record of accomplishment training people.
· Understand and apply general policy conditions and coverage application.
· Record of accomplishment of success managing auto claims with increasing complexity and financial exposure.
· Strong customer service skills with attention to detail and self-motivation.
· Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
· Must present themselves in a professional manner on a day-to-day basis.
· Ability to meet and document strict timelines for review and upload of work product.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
· Relevant years of experience in auto claims handling.
· Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs, preferably in the insurance industry.
· Strong knowledge of auto insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
· Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
· Proficiency in using various training methodologies and technologies, including e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and multimedia resources.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify training needs and implement effective solutions.
· Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve training objectives.
· Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
· Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development in claims handling.
· Maintain adjuster license(s) as required by state regulations.
· Must have willingness to roll-up your sleeves and put in the work as needed alongside adjuster teams.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
· Experience managing a team or handling fast track/low touch claims.
· Experience conducting virtual training sessions and leveraging various technologies to ensure effectiveness of training sessions.
· Bilingual.
· Insurance Designation(s).
· Lean Six Sigma Certification(s).
