How you will create an impact
As the Claims Transformation Process/Product Lead you will be responsible to drive the strategy and vision for the acceleration of transformation and continuous process improvement initiatives in the Claim organization. You will partner with the Claims Performance, IT, Digital, Operations, Claims Finance and functional support teams across the General Insurance (GI) Claims organization to lead and/or assist in transformation initiatives as well as lead or partner on process improvement projects across various Claims Line of Business (LOB) Globally. You will be the key driver of analysis and recommendations for both transformation initiatives and process optimization, identification of use cases, planning and implementation of discovery, solution design, lead execution phases and activities, and achievement of GI Claims transformation and continuous improvement goals.
+ Establish strong and collaborative relationships with Global Claims leadership and function support teams.
+ Engage with key stakeholders in designing and executing transformation, process and system improvements, on behalf of GI Claims LOBs, through an Agile Framework to improve claims handling practices and specialized services.
+ Drive transformation initiatives and process optimization, conduct necessary data collection and quantitative analysis, solution design, prioritization, and develop recommendations.
+ Develop and lead governance committee meetings and communication cadence to resolve roadblocks.
+ Establish accountabilities throughout the journey - changes and requirements with regards to processes, technologies, and workflows.
+ Execute relevant GI Claims and GI Operations strategies, as set by the Claims Leadership Team (CLT), to deliver the core objectives for Claims through managing costs, timelines, quality, and providing excellent customer service.
+ Lead change initiatives / projects across Global Claims supporting the CLT in achieving transformation and process optimization and instilling consistency whilst acknowledging the differences across LOBs and geographies.
+ Lead transformative technology initiatives and system enhancements that improve business processes and ensure regulatory compliance and support IT modernization and application rationalization.
+ Drive a continuous improvement culture across GI Claims, engaging closely with various key stakeholders and leaders to embed a collaborative approach to transformation and process optimization.
What you will need to succeed
+ 10+ years (preferred) management experience overseeing large scale technology and process improvement projects.
+ Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt required along with practical experience in delivering benefits using methodology. This includes but is not limited to Value Stream Mapping.
+ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt considered a plus.
+ Ability to lead organizational change and manage resistance while driving transformation continuous improvement.
+ Proficiency in advanced statistical methods and tools to analyze data and identify root causes of problems.
+ Agile certification preferred
+ Strong experience in building user stories, developing customer journeys, metrics, UAT testing plans, solution design, implementation plans, change management plans, roadmap, and executing various Agile ceremonies including but not limited to PII Planning.
+ Strong program management skills to drive teams and initiatives.
+ Demonstrate strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, strong verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with all levels across the organization, and excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities while delivering timely & measurable results.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
+ Proficient in Rally, MS Teams, and Mural
+ Power Automate and Power Bi experience a plus.
