Job Description

Join us at our groundbreaking, state-of-the-art, brand new greenfield facility as a Clamp Truck/Forklift Operator. We specialize in manufacturing performance-based brown box, multi-color display-ready, and e-commerce corrugated packaging. ResponsibilitiesOperate a clamp truck and forklift to move rolls from various areas, including trucks and warehouses, to the corrugator for consumption.Recognize and address or report any safety, quality, or production issues.Follow instructions to meet shipment deadlines and unload within guidelines.Ensure all safety procedures are followed and intervene when unsafe practices are observed.Maintain high levels of quality, productivity, and attention to detail.Coordinate with operators, superintendents, shipping department, and customer service to ensure accurate and damage-free loads.Unload incoming loads in a timely manner and place them in the correct location.Perform lockout/tagout procedures for safety concerns with the lift truck.Utilize the RF scanning system to identify products and handle various roll types to prevent damage.Perform housekeeping inside and outside the warehouse and docks, keeping accurate counts when loading and unloading.Assist with the inventory control process.Work with computers, scanners, and printers.Handle varying temperatures and loud repetitive noises with proper hearing protection.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills2+ years of Roll Clamp Truck Forklift experience.Ability to work overtime, typically 60 hours per week, including some Saturdays if needed.Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler, and use basic shop math.High degree of attention to detail and dexterity in controlling equipment.Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs. throughout the day.Additional Skills & QualificationsProven attendance record.Drive for results and strong work ethic.Great attitude and team-first mindset.Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred, but not required.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
