Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to transport pipes from our warehouse in the South Side to various locations around PGH and surrounding areas. The role requires driving a 24-28 foot flatbed truck within a 200-mile radius daily. The position does not require overnight travel, and no specific certifications or personal protective equipment are required.
ResponsibilitiesTransport pipes from the warehouse to various locations within a 200-mile radius daily.Load your own truck each day and assist customers in unloading the product upon delivery.Follow GPS directions to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Perform warehouse work, such as picking and packaging parts, during slow periods when there are no runs to be made.Interact professionally with customers, ensuring excellent customer service.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience driving a 24-28 foot flatbed truck.Valid CDL Class A or B license.Willingness to perform warehouse duties during slow periods.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of forklift operation experience preferred, but training is available for candidates open to learning.Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and production is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will spend approximately 80% of your time on the road and 20% in our warehouse. The warehouse is an open bay building of about 10,000 square feet, providing a fairly industrial yet pleasant work environment. The shift typically runs from 7:30am or 8am to 4pm or 4:30pm, with some fluctuations. All trucks are manual.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $49920.00

Employee may elect a monthly payment of $200 in lieu of medical insurance coverage and $50 in lieu of dental insurance coverage. Profit Sharing Plan:\tThe Company currently sponsors a noncontributory profit-sharing plan. Employees are eligible for the plan after 1 year of employment. Although the company contributions are discretionary, the company has contributed 15% of participating employees’ wages to the plan over the past 18 years.
Life Insurance:\tThe Company provides at no cost to employee’s term life insurance in the amount of $10,000. Employee has the option of purchasing an additional $100,000 for themselves, $20,0000 for their spouse and/or $10,000/$5,000 for their children paid entirely by the employee.
Disability Insurance:\tB.M. Kramer & Company, Inc. provides at no cost to employee’s long-term disability insurance.
Supplemental\t\tVarious supplemental insurance products (i.e.: Short Term Disability, Cancer, Universal Life, Insurance:\t\tetc.) are available through Colonial Life Insurance. These policies are paid entirely by the
\t\t\temployee. B, M. Kramer & Company, Inc. does not contribute to cost of these policies.
Vacation:\tYou will receive 1 vacation days for each full month of employment during the calendar year up to maximum of 10 days. Employment must commence on or before the 15th of the month to be considered a full month of employment.
