**Job Title: Class A CDL Driver** **Location** : Des Moines, Iowa **Pay** : $20 - $25 per hour **Schedule** : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Job Description** : + We are a growing construction company specializing in lumber and metal frame construction, looking for a reliable and dedicated Class A CDL Driver to join our team. This is a hybrid role that involves both driving and hands-on general labor tasks. As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Additionally, you will be involved in loading and unloading the company vehicle, as well as getting trained in installation work. + This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to diversify their skill set with a mix of driving duties and construction labor. As a member of our team, you will have plenty of room for growth, including the potential for pay increases and advancement once you are direct. **Responsibilities** : + Safely operate a Class A CDL vehicle to transport materials to and from job sites. + Load and unload materials, ensuring safe handling and secure transport. + Assist with general labor duties, including installation work and job site support. + Maintain a clean driving record and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations. + Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines and goals. + Participate in ongoing training and development to expand skillset. **Requirements** : + Valid Class A CDL license. + Clean driving record and ability to adhere to all safety regulations. + Previous experience in a driving or construction role is a plus. + Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor. + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Benefits** : + Competitive pay: $20 - $25 per hour. + 1st shift, Monday - Friday schedule with weekends off. + Room for growth and pay increases after being hired directly. + Training opportunities for additional skills and certifications.
