As a Petroleum Transport Driver, you will be responsible for delivering petroleum products to our store locations on a timely basis. Our drivers, based in 25 locations, deliver one million gallons daily, log over 20,000 miles daily and are able to be home at the end of each shift. Our state-of-the art fleet is equipped with electronic logging, satellite communication, and is serviced regularly by our own Truck Maintenance Shop.

 

Work Schedule:  Drivers typically work between 50- 60 hours; schedules include holidays.

Qualifications:

Class A CDL with combination vehicle, air brakes, general, tanker and hazardous material endorsements2 or more years of Class A CDL combination experience is requiredGood driving recordHigh level of customer serviceAccurate / detail orientatedOperate computerized loading systemBasic math aptitude including computing percentagesWilling to learn / perform a variety of job tasksWork well with othersWork with minimal supervisionUnderstand / accurately complete invoice paperworkLearn / carry out spill prevention / minimization / clean-up techniquesMust be at least 21 years of ageWork in a safety conscious environmentWork in a variety of temperature and weather conditionsCandidate must live within both 60 minutes and 60 miles of their home base in Clear Lake, IA. 

 

Physical qualifications: sit up to 6 hours at a time; stand up to 1 hour at a time; bend/reach/twist occasionally; lift/carry up to 50 pounds from 24 to 60 inches occasionally; push/pull up to 62 pounds of force occasionally.
