Job Description

Domino’s Class B CDL Straight Truck Driver safely drives the company commercial vehicle on established routes to deliver and unload products to Domino’s Pizza store locations.  Drivers load and unload products at each customer location using a dolly and provide customer service, listening to and timely resolving customer service complaints.   

Domino’s commercial drivers ensure that all tasks performed are done in a safe manner, including wearing proper PPE. 

Shift/Dispatch time: between 2am-5am; Monday-Saturday; 5 days per week; 2 rotating days off

Compensation: $27.00/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES                                           

Drive, Deliver, and Unload Product

Safely drive the assigned truck on designated route(s) to deliver the product to Domino's Pizza stores; may be required to run routes as part of a team or as a single driver.Safely deliver the product by sliding dough trays and product from the trailer floor to the rear lift gate and ramp to dollies/cartsVerify dough, store cooler and trailer temperatures at each stop, and accuracy of deliverySafely load the product onto a dolly and unload the product at each customer location. Rotate stock in cooler, then move delivered product into coolerPick up damaged and empty tray containers/carts and deliver to the Supply Chain CenterSafely Reposition and secure the remaining product/tray containers/carts in the trailer after each deliveryListen to and timely resolve customer service complaintsRequired to always wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards while workingAttend scheduled safety, team meetings, and training sessions once a quarterFollow all local, state, federal, and Domino's safety rules, policies, and procedures

Complete Necessary Paperwork

Responsible for verifying and securing load prior to dispatchEnsure you have the required safety equipment before dispatchPerform pre- and post-trip safety vehicle inspections at every stop – beginning and end of each tripVerify log of driving activities dailyComplete all safety training in a timelyComply with DOT log regulations by ELDAccountable for the vehicle and productComplete paperwork (DVIR, Trip Sheet, Load Assessment Forms) per DOT, and Company policies and procedures

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 21 years of ageSix months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred           Proof of 25,000 verifiable miles of CMV driving experience preferredMust have a valid class B Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] with Air BrakesMust maintain a DOT Med CertMust meet the Company MVR standards to drive company commercial motor vehicle (11 pts)Must pass DOT physicalMust successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary dateMust be able to work around yeast and flour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.], and work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
