Transdev in Woodland, CA is seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician C to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our transit vehicles. (Air brakes & passenger endorsement.)Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of transit vehicles, including buses, paratransit vehicles, and related equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Conduct preventative maintenance inspections, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks.Assist with upgrades and modifications to vehicle systems as needed.Perform road calls and on-the-road repairs as required.Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Maintenance experience with heavy-duty transit equipment (Mechanic C level: less than 2 years).Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and air brake endorsements preferred. (We offer development opportunities for obtaining your license.)Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and drug screening.Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
