Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clean Room Extrusion Operator for the 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This role involves working in a clean room environment, operating a rubber extrusion machine, and performing various tasks to ensure the production of high-quality products. This is a contract position with a pay rate of $18/hr.
ResponsibilitiesOperate a rubber extrusion machine in an FDA-regulated clean room environment.Feed silicone and rubber material into the machine.Cut products to size based on work instructions.Package products and prepare them for shipping.Perform change overs as trained.Prepare the machine for tubing runs according to work instructions.Work in a fast-paced environment.Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.Conduct quality checks on products being produced.Perform visual inspections and documentation.Stand at the machine for the entire shift as machines do not stop running.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of machine operator experience.Ability to read a tape measure.Willingness to work Saturdays if needed.Ability to follow work instructions to meet production goals.Willingness to wear a clean room suit, hair net, and beard net if applicable.Ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience with injection mold machines and working in sterile clean rooms is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in an extremely clean and temperature-controlled environment equipped with air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter. The facility includes a sterile room kept at 68 degrees. Employees are provided with lockers for personal belongings and must wear a paper gown, which is provided weekly. Acceptable attire includes tennis shoes. GMP and FDA regulations require hair to be tied back with a hairnet, beard nets if applicable, and prohibit fake nails, fingernail polish, make-up, false eyelashes, piercings, and jewelry. No food or drink is allowed in the clean room area.
