Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Clean Room Technicians for our 1st and 2nd shift openings. This role involves working in a clean room environment to perform setups and operations on diamond turning CNC machines, as well as metrology tasks involving optical lens measurements and data analysis.
ResponsibilitiesPerform setups on diamond turning CNC machinesAlign machine partsRun and inspect parts repeatedlyLoad and unload parts from the machineFollow detailed work instructionsPerform detailed documentation in SharePointAssist in other parts of the clean room labUtilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurementCalculate conversions of fractions to decimalsWork with plastic sheets that require precise measurementsPerform measurements of optical lensesWork with scientists to report dataGather and manage data, including file naming and server data transferOperate CMM machine in a lab settingUse cloud platforms and Microsoft Excel for data entryPerform repetitive tasks with high attention to detailEssential SkillsHigh attention to detailComputer skills and data entry experienceMechanical aptitudeExperience with quality inspectionExperience in a lab or clean room environmentProficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometersAbility to perform repetitive tasksStrong mathematical skills for conversionsAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience within manufacturing and machine operation (preferred)Experience with CMM machinesKnowledge of blueprint readingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean room lab environment with a constant temperature of 68 degrees. The environment is well-lit for quality inspection. Employees can wear sweatshirts and listen to music while working. No steel toe boots are required. The department has only 3 other employees, ensuring a focused and collaborative workspace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
