**Clean Room Operator** **Job Description** Clean Room Machine Operator 1st shift: 7am-3pm Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturday work paying time and a half. 6 Month Contract to hire Pay Rate: $18/hr Typical day: • Will be working in clean room environment / FDA regulated environment • Will be operating a rubber extrusion machine • Will take silicone and rubber material and feed it into the machine • Will cut product to size based on work instructions • Will package the product and prepare for packaging • Will be trained to do change overs • Will follow work instructions to prepare machine for tubing that is being ran • Will work in fast pace environment • Will be lifting 50 lbs at times • Will perform quality checks on products that are being ran • Perform visual inspection and documentation • Will be required to stand at machine for entire shift – machines do not stop running **Hard Skills** + Clean room experience + Production experience + Injection mold or extrusion operator **Work Environment** Extremely clean and temperature controlled environment with AC in the summer and heated in the winter. There is a room that is sterile and kept at 68 degrees. Will be provided with a locker to keep their belongings. Will suit up in a paper gown before every shift. Will be given a new gown to wear every week. Tennis shoes are acceptable. (no steel toe boots) GMP/ FDA requirements- PPE: • Must have hair tied back and hairnet worn at ALL TIMES • Must wear beard net if applicable • No fake nails or fingernail polish • No make-up • No false eye lashes • NO piercings or jewelry of ANY KIND • NO FOOD or DRINK in clean room area **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
