Clean Room Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Clean Room Technician to join our team. This position offers two openings: one for the 1st shift (7am-3:30pm) and one for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm). The role involves working in a clean room and machine operator lab setting, with responsibilities including inspecting and measuring parts, performing tests on various products, and documenting results. This is a contract-to-hire position.

ResponsibilitiesWear a dust suit (clean room suit, no hood).Work in a machine operator lab setting.Inspect and measure parts using calipers, gauges, and microscopes.Perform documentation in cloud platform and Microsoft Excel.Follow work instructions.Operate CMM machine and diamond turning machine (training provided).Perform repetitive tasks.Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the team.Essential SkillsHigh attention to detail.Strong computer skills and data entry.Mechanical aptitude.Experience with CMM, calipers, and microscopes.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Ability to follow blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have 2 years of experience in manufacturing.Must have strong computer and documentation experience.Ability to lift 30 lbs.Experience in clean room environments is a plus.Quality inspection experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work in a clean room lab environment with a constant temperature of 68 degrees. The department consists of only three other employees. The environment is well-lit for quality inspection, and you may wear sweatshirts and listen to music while working. Steel toe boots are not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
