• Reports for work with sufficient time to arrive at the site in a timely manner and comply with work week work schedule specially the 5:00pm to 8:00pm scheduled prior to the time to start work, if foe some reason you may not be able to work on an specific date of time you must let your immediate Supervisor know 4.00 hours prior
• Follow any special instructions related to the area(s)/items assigned and/or tenants served. or daily task from Manager or Supervisor accordingly.
• Pick up appropriate service cart and door keys from staging area and proceeds to with daily work assignments or as applicable.
• Enter office/suite/area to be cleaned locking all tenant-space doors that enter public corridors and turning off all lights in the space that are not within the immediate cleaning area IF APPLICABLE. (NOTE: At no time is the Maid/Cleaner to open a door in response to someone knocking on said door.) Beginning with the most immediate item(s) to his/her left and proceeding clockwise around and through the area, performs the housecleaning tasks listed specified herein.
• Using the proper cleaning solution and cleaning microfiber cloth, prepared dusts, damp wipes and/or spot cleans all horizontal and vertical surfaces including, but not limited to, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, windowsills/ledges, book shelves, telephone instruments, walls up to 60 inches from the floor, light switches/plates, and glass table/desk tops, partitions, doors/door inserts, carpet base and mirrors. Exceptions are defined in the special cleaning instructions.
• Empty all trash cans and other waste receptacles into container collection bag(s) in accordance with the source separation program; damp wipes trash cans and other waste receptacles; when required places/replaces plastic receptacle liners; polices floor for items of value and objects too large or heavy to be picked up by vacuum. Places any valuable or useful items found on the floor on the nearest table/desktop and report accordingly.
• Observes and informs supervisor of any mechanical and/or electrical malfunctions of such items as locks, doorknobs and stops, fight bulbs, and fixtures; makes notes on any item(s) broken or otherwise damaged prior to and during his/her presence in the area.
• After completion of clockwise general cleaning cycle, proceeds (with vacuum cleaner and/or floor dusting/mopping equipment) to vacuum and/or dust mop /damp mop office/suite/Labs/ Lounges, Kitchens, Hallway common areas, floors and baseboards, taking care to follow the clockwise path as with the general cleaning.
• Observe and make notes on floor, wall, carpet and baseboard conditions requiring specialized effort for their correction and report to designated Supervisor or Manager.
• Upon completion of cleaning tasks therein, remove cleaning cart with tools, materials and refuse collection bag(s) from the office/suite/Labs, Lounges / Hallway common area, taking special care to turn off all fights ONLY IF APPLICABLE and Instructed (when the area is unoccupied) and lock all outer access doors when exiting.( Most offices have automatic light sensors and no further action as required)
• Move cleaning cart and all working tools/materials to next farthest office/suite/area from the elevator lobby to be cleaned and completes housekeeping tasks of the same nature and sequence outlined above until such time as all offices/suites/areas assigned to him/her on a given floor and in each direction from the elevator lobby are properly serviced and all trash has been collected and temporarily stored along the corridor for subsequent removal.
• Upon completion of general cleaning tasks within areas, proceed with vacuum cleaner, and ensure the no cleaning materials or cleaning equipment has been left behind. pick up trash bags and transports them to the designated disposal area.
• Clean, disinfect and sanitize bathrooms as applicable or as assigned as well as water fountains. Also, re-stock paper good supplies as needed. Report any mechanical or unsafe deficiency.
• Lobby, Reception areas, Sweep, mop, vacuum carpet or as applicable, wipe all furniture and fixtures within reach from the floor; spot clean glass surfaces at tenant entry doors to remove smudges/fingerprints and on walls.
• Vacuums elevator lobby carpet and damp/dust mops lobby, if appropriate.
• Perform other routine duties as required or directed by his/her immediate Supervisor. Periodic Tasks
• Dust/damp wipes cabinet tops, venetian blinds, pictures and other wall decor on days and frequencies assigned by his/her immediate Supervisor.
• Performs other periodic duties as required or directed by his/her immediate Supervisor. Upon completion of all assigned cleaning tasks, transports cleaning cart and all working tools, equipment and supplies back to staging area; turns in keys as applicable and inform immediate Supervisor/ Manager of any problems encountered, clocks-out report any deficiencies to the Supervisor accordingly.
