Job Title: Cleaner

Job Description

The candidate will be primarily responsible for cleaning in the maintenance department. They will work in a cold environment when in the production, shipping/receiving area, and in a normal temperature environment when in the office and lunch room.

ResponsibilitiesPerform cleaning, sweeping, and sanitizing tasks.Maintain housekeeping standards in the maintenance department.Work in various temperature environments, including cold production and shipping/receiving areas.Follow cleaning processes and procedures once trained.Ensure cleanliness in office and lunchroom areas.Essential SkillsStrong communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and follow cleaning processes.Active and determined to complete tasks.Comfortable working in a cold environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in using floor scrubbers is an asset.Production/Warehouse experience.Must be able to drive as this is an early morning shift (5:00 AM - 1:30 PM).Must be able to work weekends.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced, with varied daily tasks. The production room is approximately 55 degrees Fahrenheit and can be a bit loud due to machinery (about 85 decibels). The company is rapidly expanding and diverse, fostering a team-oriented culture where employees can work both independently and collaboratively. The team consists of 10 people. The dress code requires steel toe boots, and prohibits jewelry, nail polish, piercings, fake eyelashes, and fake nails unless worn for religious or medical purposes. The shift starts at 5 AM.
