Hourly Rate: $18-$20.62
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizes daily transportation to and from worksites as outlined in site cleaning schedule. Performs all cleaning tasks specific to the site. Effectively secures the safety of each site as it is exited for the evening. Coordinates the schedule of all staff directly providing the cleaning service. Ensures that quality work is maintained at each site. Completes necessary paperwork as it relates to Supported Employment documentation. Completes other required documentation promptly and accurately. Monitor the work performance of cleaners and provide coaching and other feedback to further develop the individual’s skills. Meets and maintains approved drivers status and provides transportation to participants. Responsible for recognizing maintenance issues and reporting issues to the Facilities Department. Ensures health, safety and well being of consumers and site. Completion of cleaning checklists as provided by facilities. Responsible for ordering of supplies/inventory in conjunction with site. Complies with all agency policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 years general maintenance experience preferred. Valid NYS Driver’s License. Good oral communication and interpersonal skills. Lifting requirement of 50lbs. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the supervision and development of the cleaning crew employees.
