WHAT’S THE JOB?

The Cleaning Porter will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested. 

Your work will include:

Detail cleaning, sanitizing & restocking of men's public and staff washrooms according to schedule as neededSweeping and mopping hard floors and keeping entrance matting cleanResponding to calls for spill cleanup as neededCleaning and sanitizing public elevators, entrance door glass, steel & touch pointsCleaning, sanitizing and emptying of garbage on loading dock in compactor & recycle stations as needed in all areasMaintaining detailed work and safety logs daily

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A great attitude!Commercial cleaning experience is an assetExperience with cleaning chemicals, and machines including vacuums, wet vacuums, carpet extractors, floor machines, and hand tools for sweeping, mopping, and dusting is an asset, but training will be providedAble to operate cleaning equipment and machineKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous MaterialsAble to lift up to 25 lbsA clear criminal background check is required for this role
