We are seeking an organised and conscientious Cleaning Supervisor (Science Services), to join on of our large established clients in Stevenage.
You will be responsible for managing a team of between six and ten housekeeping operatives and oversee the administration of general cleaning services as well as a small team of Lab Support who are required to meet Good x Practice (GxP) regulations and quality guidelines. GxP aims to address the safety of the pharmaceutical product in a systematic and wholesome manner while maintaining the quality of processes throughout every stage of manufacturing, control, storage, and distributions, as such attention to detail is essential and managing the team(s) to deliver against them to a high standard at all times is key.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the team(s) maintain Sodexo’s commitment to a zero-harm mindset, proactively undertaking safety walks, reporting near misses and accidents.
Strong knowledge of COSHH and extensive experience within cleaning is advantageous though not essential as full training will be provided. However, the management of large teams including in the implementation and management of HR policies and processes is crucial.
You must be resilient, manage your time and multiple priorities effectively, possess good communication and customer service skills.

This role will be Monday to Friday between 06:00am – 14:30pm, 37.5 hours per week.
Due to the requirement to travel to other sites, a full UK driving licence is required.
