We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaning & Waste Coordinator to join our team. You will support the Cleaning and Waste Services department operations by supporting the Manager in organising, planning and implementing strategy with a particular focus on Cleaning & Waste and the coordination of Work, Health & Safety processes.

What you’ll do

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

Ensure sufficient levels of consumables available at all times Follow up and investigate feedback issues in relation to all service delivery requirements Ensure all contractual responsibilities are met in line with Services Specification, Method Statement, Functional Brief all relevant contractual documents. Implement and ensure adherence to the contractual Cleaning Plan Ensure adherence to work schedules, reviewing at least on a quarterly basis Manage projects to improve service efficiency

What you’ll bring

Relevant tertiary qualification and/or Industry experience within a similar environment In-depth knowledge of all Cleaning, Waste and Safety management, metrics and technology Previous experience in a Healthcare environment is highly desirable Previous exposure to Facilities Management or a Service environment Previous accountability for work Safety policies, procedures and compliance Experience developing and implementing rosters based on recognised staffing methodologies and standards Ability to provide professional customer service in an empathetic and solution focused manner Proven people management skills to provide a supportive work environment
