Cleanroom Operator
**APPLY TO START THE ASAP** **Job Title: Cleanroom Operator** **Job Description** Inspect medical products within a cleanroom setting while wearing a lab coat and glasses. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and safety of medical devices through meticulous inspection and adherence to strict protocols. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection sheets to complete inspections. + Verify that measuring equipment is calibrated properly and alert the Supervisor or Manager if equipment validity is in question. + Complete necessary paperwork such as data sheets, lab requests, and Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs), either electronically or in hard copy. + Conduct required read and record data sheets, first article inspections, or other documented inspections as necessary. + Interpret sample size from a standard AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) table. + Utilize computers and basic Microsoft Applications for inspection documentation. + Perform other inspection and/or production functions as required. + 1-3 years of mechanical inspection experience using a wide variety of equipment and tolerances to at least the 5th decimal point. + Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, procedures, and inspection sheets. + Proficiency in verifying calibration of measuring equipment. + Experience in completing data sheets, lab requests, and NCMRs. + Familiarity with computers and basic Microsoft Applications. + Capability to perform first article inspections and documented inspections. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with quality assurance, quality inspection, and quality control. + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, blueprints, and microscopes. + Experience in medical device assembly and production. + Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and machine operation. + Forklift operation experience is a plus. **What's in it for you?** + Weekly pay + Benefits: 401k, vision, health, dental **Work Environment** Work within a cleanroom environment with stringent protocols to ensure product safety. The job includes various shifts: 1st shift (Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM), and 3rd shift (Sunday – Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
