Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cleanroom Technician. This position is located in Columbus, OH with the Microfabrication group.

This is a full-time position. The cleanroom technician is responsible for processing both production and development parts from cleaning through photolithography and inspection processes, and final preparation for quality inspection. Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment is also required.
Responsibilities Follows written/documented quality, process, and safety procedures to meet precise standards and strict tolerances.Accurately documents process parameters and data. Maintains data in manufacturing and nonconformance databases. Contributes to the technical planning of project work including recommending, testing, and implementing improved methods.Identifies and documents process issues and participates in problem solving efforts/root cause analysis.Contributes to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks.Performs area housekeeping tasks.Key Qualifications High school diploma with applicable experience or associate’s degree in engineering technology or applied science field is desired.US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.Work in a clean room environment requiring specialized cleanroom attire and work protocols.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in groups and ensure completion of assigned work within schedule and budget constraints.Ability to learn quickly following verbal and written instructions regarding safety, chemical handling and photolithography processing.Perform work with a consistently high degree of accuracy and attention to detail including meticulous work habits and neat, accurate, legible record keeping.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint.)Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to learn and apply new information or skills.Strong math and decision-making skills.Ability to operate instruments, sensors, and calibrated equipment.Excellent work ethics in terms of attendance, organization, and team skills.Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.Experience using a microscopeComfortable working with chemicalsExperience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to work in cleanroom suit under yellow light conditions.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.Manual lifting up to 35 pounds.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of photolithographic processes and techniquesExperience working in a cleanroom environmentExperience with safe work practice protocols, including chemical handling procedures Experience working in an ISO 9001 quality system environmentMinimum 2 years’ work experience in a related fieldExperience with equipment maintenance and repairAbility to lift 50 lbs.
