****Seeking Qualified Nuclear Machinist Mates/Machinist Mates**** **Job Description** + We are seeking a 1st Class Outside Machinist with an active secret security clearance or one that has been active in the last 24 months. + You will be responsible for the overhaul and repair of pumps, motors, valves, and other auxiliary equipment. + You must have your own PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. + The work will take place at HII and NNSY in VA. + Specific submarine torpedo tube or 'sail' experience is required. + This position has the potential to become a direct hire, with the period of performance through 1/31 and likely extension. **Hard Skills** + Overhauling and repairing pumps + Repairing motors and valves + Submarine torpedo tube experience + Sail experience + Machinist Mate + Engineman **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
