DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position receives, reviews, and processes incoming fingerprint cards in accordance with HB 2235 (Private Detectives Act). Prepares fingerprint cards and verifies each fingerprint card for accuracy and submission of required fees. The CA2 will also receive, review, and process incoming DNA fingerprint cards in compliance with ACT 184, HB 835 (DNA Act). Collects, searches, and examines criminal history record information. Maintains basic knowledge and understanding of the Pennsylvania Crimes Code, Penal Code, Vehicle Code, Pharmacy Laws, Liquor Code, and Drug and Cosmetic Act. Interested in learning more? REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or + Graduation from high school;or + An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements: + One year or more of customer service experience. + One year or more of data entry experience. + You must be able to perform essential job functions.
