DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3 in the Bureau of Motor Vehicles , your primary duties will be examining and processing work relating to the branded titling processes. You will also inspect and process title applications for reconstructed vehicles, specially constructed vehicles, street rods, modified vehicles, recovered theft and flood vehicles, and collectible cars. You will verify work processed by PennDOT's Online Registration Program participants to ensure that all documentation necessary to issue a branded title is present and acceptable. You will manage vehicle identification number (VIN) inventory while clearly understanding motor vehicle laws and title registration procedures. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: + One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title);or + One year of moderately complex clerical experience;or + An equivalent combination of experience and training.
