DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will be a vital leader in the Central Services Unit at the Southwest Regional Office. In this influential role, you will confidently oversee work priorities, distribute assignments, provide essential support, deliver practical on-the-job training, and review the work of the support unit to ensure it consistently meets high standards of completeness and quality. Your extensive clerical experience and in-depth understanding of policies and procedures for each program in this region and throughout the department are critical to your success and that of your team. Furthermore, you will expertly manage all informal file review requests, collaborating seamlessly with technical staff, locating multi-format files and records, addressing inquiries from requesters, and efficiently scheduling file review appointments.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
+ Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title);or
+ One year of moderately complex clerical experience;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.
