Shift: 1st shift 6am- 2:30pm

Monday-Friday and weekends when needed 

Pay Rate: $20/HR

Logistics Shipping and Receiving Duties

Responsibilities:

Shipping Operations:

Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in quantities and documentation. Create and verify shipping documents, including invoices and Bills of Lading (BOL). Ensure all loads are correctly staged in designated lanes and ready for dispatch. Coordinate with dispatch to confirm load details and schedules.

Receiving Operations:

Receive and verify incoming shipments, checking for accuracy in quantities and condition. Update inventory records in the SAP system. Unload and stage incoming materials in designated areas. Communicate with suppliers and carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Special Handling:

For shipments to Canada: ensure loads are topped and wrapped. For overseas shipments: ensure loads are heat-treated, topped, and wrapped.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Update and manage records in the SAP system.

Coordination and Communication:

Liaise with warehouse staff, dispatch, and drivers to ensure smooth operations. Respond to emails and phone calls promptly. Schedule and manage shipping and receiving appointments.

Problem Solving:

Identify and resolve issues related to shipping and receiving processes. Address any discrepancies or delays in shipments. Utilize super user access to perform advanced functions in the SAP system as needed.

Inventory Management:

Conduct regular inventory counts and audits. Report any discrepancies or damages to management. Ensure accurate inventory levels and proper stock rotation.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during shipping and receiving operations. Ensure all shipments comply with company and regulatory standards.
