**This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City’s collective bargaining agreement with** **AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) – BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5.** **Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
**_·_** Provide daily ID Badge Application management through copying, organizing, and filing daily over 400 badge applications, which includes completed applications, pending applications, rejected applications, access control forms, multiple access change forms, citations, citation dockets, copies of notices sent to respondents, signatories and the companies including their attorneys.
**_·_** Pulling documents requested by TSA as well as Labor, airport employees, other government agencies, City departments and FOIA.
_Additional duties may be required for this position._
**CHICAGO DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION**
**Location:** O’Hare International Airport – Terminal 3 Lower Level
Division: ID Badging Division
**Days Off:** Saturday and Sunday
**Shift:** Monday-Friday
**Hours:** 7:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. and 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
**THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE**
**Qualifications:**
**MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS** **:** Two years of timekeeping, payroll or clerical work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
· **NOTE: The candidate selected for hire must pass an airport background check and a Security Threat Assessment (STA)**
**Selection Requirements** : This position requires applicants to successfully **Pass** a skills assessment test **IN** **ORDER TO BE** interviewed. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after the test results have been analyzed and compiled. The interviewed candidate(s) who possess the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected.

Department of Human Resource staff will review applications after the final posting date. Staff will follow any and all required Employment/Hiring Plan provisions, federal, state and local laws, and Collective Bargaining Agreements when applicable.
