Job Overview:
The Trinitas Women's, Infants and Children Nutrition Program, or WIC, is a supplemental food and nutrition program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). WIC provides nutritious foods, nutrition education, health screenings, and access to health care and referrals to community organizations, breastfeeding education, and immunization information and voter registration.

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAt least three years of equivalent office experience and working with computersMust be able to work with high volume of clients and familiesMust be able to multitask and use of critical thinking requiredPreferred:
Bilingual preferredAssociates Degree with background in computer services or equivalent experienceScheduling Requirements:
Shift- Day (varies)Monday- Friday with Some weekends scheduleFull TimeEssential Functions:
Enters and verifies family registration informationCompletes and processes affidavits as neededConducts financial screening for income, identification and addressEnsures that appropriate health information and immunizations records are entered into the systemSchedules appropriate appointments in person and over the phones,Process Voter Registration and collects electronic signatures,Uses the language line as appropriateProvides Program information which includes explains the Rights and Obligations, Complaint Process, Fair Hearing, Sanctions,Collects consents and electronic signatures as requiredIssues ewic card program benefits, Program guides/EBT according to policiesEnsures electronic signatures are collectedProvides detailed program orientation, benefits, vendor lists, other required forms for future appointmentsDetermines future appointment typesDocuments attendance of on-line education and conducts surveysMaintains program records and storage of program forms and suppliesMonitors benefits instruments issuance and physical inventoriesInvestigates Lost/Stolen instruments according to policyFollows protocols for program mailingsMaintains required logsRetrieve client information from the participant portal and public emailOperates various office equipment including computer, phone, fax, copier, printers, scanners, signature pads, cell phones, etc,and follows protocol for establishing network connectivity at mains site and at remote sitesCovers the reception area and phones while screening for appointment verificationAssists in other related duties including outreach events and program/departmental trainingAssists in other related duties for to ensure services are not interruptedAttends required trainingsBenefits and Perks:
