Cambria County is seeking a dedicated full-time Clerk Typist 1 to assist with the day-to-day operations of Children and Youth Services. We strive to utilize existing resources in an effective and efficient manner in the identification, investigation, and prevention of abuse and neglect of children throughout Cambria County . Bring your unique skillset to our department and unleash your potential! DESCRIPTION OF WORK This is an entry-level clerical position at Cambria County Children and Youth Service. An employee in this class is responsible for filing, typing, and processing data entry into a database, as well as answering incoming phone calls. Work involves performing routine clerical duties within a structured work setting which is characterized by standardized duties that follow well established methods and procedures. This position gives you the opportunity to take notes while attending Family Engagement meetings and act as a backup for other clerical staff in the satellite office in their absence.
