CLI Fleet Maintenance Manager

OVERVIEW Responsible for planning, organizing, and managing fleet maintenance activities to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our fuel tanker fleet. Oversee all aspects of maintenance, repair, and upkeep of these vehicles, executed by our third-party lease vendors to include preventative maintenance, tire management, fueling, compliance, and leasing partner shop relations to maximize fleet uptime and optimize maintenance processes to support CLI operations. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) 1. Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive fleet maintenance strategy aligned with company goals, regulatory and compliance requirements, executed across our third-party maintenance vendors. 2. Monitor fleet performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency gains, including but not limited to the development of methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency. 3. Manage and track equipment usage, variances, preventative maintenance schedules, and vehicle mileage to ensure compliance with lease agreements. 4. Manage and oversee the operational functionality and ensure quality compliance of all trucks, tankers, fleet vehicles, and delivery equipment (hoses, fittings, etc.). 5. Develop and administer the fleet maintenance programs to ensure leasing agreements, regulations, standards, and industry best practices are followed pertaining to fuel truck and tanker maintenance and safety. 6. Control maintenance repairs, inventory, and cost by managing the repair invoice process and providing an approval process for major equipment repairs. 7. Collaborate with terminal leadership and external leasing partner supervisors, suppliers, and vendors to procure support as needed. 8. Complete all required reporting on equipment budgeting, maintenance, and leasing, in a timely manner. 9. Assist in identifying proper specifications for CLI trucks and tankers to meet company goals and expectations. 10. Assist company leadership in equipment related projects and initiatives. 11. Assist in maintaining and updating standard operating procedures for fleet maintenance processes. QUALIFICATIONS (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) The education, experience and license/certification requirements represent the MINIMUM requirements necessary to perform the functions of this position successfully. Education • Associate’s degree or higher in logistics, business administration, automotive technology, or another related field required. Experience • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership role required. • Minimum 3 years’ fleet maintenance supervisory experience required. • Previous experience working with DOT and FMCSA rules and guidelines required. • Previous Fuel Tanker experience preferred. Licenses/Certifications • Valid Driver’s License required • HM-126F required after training • ASE/OEM Certifications preferred OTHER: Travel required, must be able to work in all weather conditions ACCOMMODATIONS Sheetz is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
