Job Title: CLIA Lab Technician Job Description The CLIA Lab Technician will work with the General and Technical teams to ensure the success of department goals and efforts. The technician will be required to proactively complete tasks and assignments given, and report any issues or problems to the General team. The CLIA Lab Technician will diligently and routinely participate in laboratory cleaning according to established SOPs. Additionally, the role requires troubleshooting skills and the ability to use logic to find solutions to problems. The functions of this position will be performed under supervision and are expected to be completed in a timely manner and with acceptable quality. Responsibilities + Responsible for sample accession, sample testing, and sample reporting. + Perform routine proficiency testing. + Conduct operational qualification on instruments. + Follow all lab policies and procedures. Essential Skills + Experience with CLIA, Q-PCR, Real Time PCR, LIMS. + Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification. + Proficiency in liquid handling. Work Environment The work environment is a CLIA testing lab. There are openings for a Monday to Friday shift and a Wednesday to Sunday shift.
