We offer ongoing training and development opportunities for licensed and unlicensed healthcare team members, and have best in class clinical resources for training, education, and point of care support. **How you make a difference** As a Client Care Assistant, you willbe responsible forprovidingdaily care and support to mentally ill individuals under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Registered Nurses. You willassistwith activities of daily living,monitor,and report any changes in client behavior or medicalcondition andhelp with documentation and communication with other members of the multidisciplinary team. **Key Responsibilities** + Monitor and ensure the safety and security of the treatment environment and take necessary action for client safety. + Participate andassistin daily tasks associated with client care, admissions, and discharge, including completing necessary paperwork and communicating risk factors to the team. + Respond promptly in emergency situations to meet client needs andassistclients in preparing for out-of-facility passes, activities of daily living, and medication compliance. + Completeaccurateand detailed records of all care provided, including daily summaries of client progress and incident reporting paperwork. + Collaborate with nursing and program staff to promote a collaborative model of client care, including monitoring client progress based on established treatment and care plans andassistingwith client compliance related to care plans and behavioral interventions. **Qualifications & Requirements** Education + Graduate of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant School, or Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant by the state of California is highly preferred. Experience + Completion of at least 12 months of qualifying relevant experience is also preferred. Licenses/Certifications + Current CPR/BLS certification (required) + Valid California Driver's License and clean driving history, as determined by insurance underwriting requirements.
