Client Consultant (Healthcare) – Cape Town
Mercer Marsh Benefits has a fantastic opportunity for a Client Consultant within our Healthcare sector based in Cape Town.
The Client Consultant (Healthcare) will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of clients with the primary focus on member queries, inductions, claims, Human Resources (HR) / Payroll queries and new business applications tracking and activation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a similar background within Healthcare insurance administration looking for a new challenge with an established team within a market leading insurance broker.
This is a full-time role and you must be able to attend the office a minimum of 3 days a week including Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday with the opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week.

Query resolution within stipulated Service Level Agreement as confirmed by MMB managementAccurate capturing of all client queries on system (telephonic and email)Control distribution of membership packs and/or cardsKeep written records of all client communication and interaction within the stipulated time periodAttend to HR/Payroll queries relating to medical aid scheme benefits received via email, fax or telephoneConstant follow up and feedback to relevant partiesEnsure all client correspondence is signed off and saved in correct client folder; arrange information and files in terms of MMB operating standardsAnswer phone calls and self-management of telephone accountGeneral assistance to the Healthcare consulting teamAttend internal meetings and training as and when requiredBuild effective relationships with clients (Human Resources/Payroll personnel)Manage client expectationsNew business screening of applications, tracking status and ensuring activationPromote loyalty programs and additional products (Gap, Vitality) uptakeWhat you need to have:
