As a Sales Development Associate you will support the Sales Development team to generate and qualify leads and opportunities. Candidate will focus on the strategic initiatives of the WWT sales organization. What will you be doing?

The Sales Development Associate is an exciting opportunity for an entry level sales candidate that is looking for growth in their sales career. The selected candidate have the opportunity to help build and shape a new team and the future of the lead generation and sales development department at WWT. Working with the Sales Development Director and Campaign Manager, this person will play an instrumental role and have a noticeable impact on the sales team's success by opening doors that result in qualified leads and growing the sales pipeline.

 

Responsibilities:

Create new, qualified business opportunities to fuel sales pipeline and growth Proactively follow-up on marketing campaigns and inbound inquiries to contact potential customers Evaluate the quality of contacts to determine if they should be routed/booked meetings with the appropriate sales reps Contact potential clients through phone, email, and other channels to identify and qualify sales opportunities Conduct daily activities to help build a strong pipeline of opportunities including: Pre-call research and planning Respond to inbound requests Execute outbound messaging Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads) Schedule meetings Maintain Salesforce records Partner with sales management to develop targeted lists, customize call strategies, and create messaging with the goal of increasing new business revenue Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders to identify and tailor messages for appropriate buyers Use your business acumen to conduct research on potential customers and organizations to create a high-quality outreach plans Analyze various marketing activities (ie, tradeshow scans, webinar attendance) and determine appropriate response and activities Create reports and edit data on trends and buyer insights that will help shape our outreach strategy Have the autonomy to operate beyond your role and help the team improve the process, training, use of technology, and any other aspects of our business Learn go-to-market strategy and WWT differentiators Constantly work on and enforce Salesforce hygiene for data accuracy, tracking and reporting
