THE JOB
We’re seeking an ambitious, proactive, independent self-starter to join our team. Under the direction of the VP Client Development,, this role is responsible for supporting the client development team by identifying new business opportunities within the entertainment landscape, across a wide variety of genres, from music festivals, to ice rinks, from fireworks nights, to new immersive exhibitions, and performing a number of supporting tasks to help our team win new business.
The role is an essential part of Ticketmaster’s client development strategy, fuelling the growth of our Pipeline and Revenue objectives and helping us meet our business objectives. Additionally, this role will be responsible for market research and funnel management and therefore, the successful candidate needs to have skills associated with identifying and following up on both inbound interest and generating outbound opportunities. This may include, but is not limited to, decisions regarding which prospecting tactics to use, designing and implementing a research strategy, and leveraging marketing resources.
This role will also support the client development tam by tracking progress of opportunities, liaising with legal teams on contracting, and updating pitch decks.
The goal is to generate a substantial pipeline of weekly meetings for the Client Development team with qualified leads to achieve, and exceed, assigned monthly, quarterly, and yearly targets.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Pipeline Generation
Research, identify, and generate weekly meetings with select target personasQualify incoming leads for size, use case, and qualityConduct daily volumes of activity including emails, social media outreach (Linkedin) and the occasional follow up phone callOrganize, track, and prioritize potential leads and existing client renewalsPartner with wider teams within the business to drive the day-to-day interactions that identify prospects for long-term business opportunitiesArticulate the key value proposition of Ticketmaster’s products and services to key players within the industryDevelop an understanding of the UK entertainment landscape, to identify key verticalsSales Enablement
Create and manage sales and outbound campaign copy, product demonstrations, and sales decks for sales presentationsSelect appropriate outreach avenues (cold calls, email sequences, social networks) based on the prospect details including Persona, Account Size, and structure.Stay abreast and informed of trends and market data in target market segmentsProvide feedback to Marketing on what assets and outreach are resonating and provide input on improving theseSales Operations
