Client Engagement Lead
Job Title: Client Engagement Lead/ business development representative Job Description We are looking to hire a Client Engagement Lead for our Corporate office in Mesa, AZ. The Client Engagement Lead is instrumental in driving strategic dialogues with key decision-makers, cultivating strong, long-term client relationships, and identifying opportunities for substantial business growth within the construction, environmental remediation, and EHS consulting sectors. This role ensures the company maintains a strong and trusted presence throughout the client lifecycle: before, during, and long after project completion. By serving as the face of the company to many clients, the Client Engagement Lead embodies the values of trust, innovation, and proactive engagement, creating a foundation for long-term success. Through skilled relationship-building and a forward-thinking approach, this position ensures the organization stays top-of-mind with clients and consistently moves toward new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Responsibilities + Initiate and build relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies (city, state, and federal levels), commercial construction firms, environmental remediation clients, architectural firms, engineering firms, and other large contractors or key clients. + Focus on expanding opportunities through partnerships with stakeholders across construction, design, and environmental compliance sectors. + Leverage an existing network of industry contacts or a personal book of business to jump-start relationship-building efforts and identify immediate growth opportunities. + Utilize strategic research, targeted outreach, cold calls, emails, and networking efforts to secure high-value meetings. + Maintain familiarity with the construction, design, and environmental remediation industries to effectively engage and build rapport. Essential Skills + 3–5 years of experience in construction, EHS consulting, environmental remediation, or government contracting sectors. + Demonstrated ability to bring an established book of business or active client contacts to support immediate growth opportunities and enhance the company’s market reach. + Proven ability to manage client relationships, identify opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth. + Background in construction, environmental consulting, or EHS services, with proven experience engaging in business development or client-facing roles within these industries. + Exceptional relationship-building abilities, with a proven capacity to establish trust and rapport across all levels of client organizations. + Outstanding communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging and influencing senior executives and decision-makers. + Availability to travel as necessary for client meetings, industry events, and presentations. + A valid driver’s license may be required for travel. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field + Technical writing Work Environment Corporate Mesa office, M-F, TBD on start/end time. This is a salaried position with no overtime. Travel is necessary for client meetings, industry events, and presentations, with per diem provided when traveling. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
