Marsh AB is seeking a Client Executive to join our Credit Specialty and the Surety Team, a trusted partner in managing Credit and Surety risks for larger corporates and international clients.

This role offers a unique opportunity to balance underwriting experience, financial analysis, and sales acumen to deliver innovative risk solutions. You will work closely with clients across diverse industries and geographies, helping them navigate complex financial and credit risks while contributing to their success.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Analyze financial accounts and annual reports to assess credit and surety risks and determine insurability.

Engage in prospecting and identifying potential clients, leveraging your sales skills to build strong pipelines.

Present tailored Surety solutions to clients and negotiate the placement as well as terms and conditions.

Develop relations and collaborate with Surety insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders to secure optimal coverage.

Travel to meet clients, Surety insurers, and attend industry events, primarily within the Nordic region, with occasional trips to major markets such as Germany, France, and the UK.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

Balance analytical underwriting tasks with client-focused sales activities to drive business growth.

What We Are Looking For

We seek candidates who possess the following:

A background in underwriting and strong financial analysis skills.

Moderate experience in evaluating financial statements and risk.

Proven experience in understanding trade finance tools offered by banks.

Proven sales experience with a talent for identifying and engaging new targets.

Excellent English communication skills to effectively work in an international environment.

Willingness to travel to meet client and market demands.

We welcome candidates from banks, Sureties, similar financial institutions or trade finance departments with exporters.
