Job Summary:
We are excited to add to our team a Benefits Client Executive. This is a position within the Client Services Team. This position supports clients from a service role, while working closely with other Client Service Team members, sales team members and applicable carriers and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining an assigned book of business in conjunction with other team members including a variety of clientsDevelop and deliver strategic planning and consulting services to clients, encompassing the creation of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), orchestration of vendor responses, and thorough analysis and comparison of RFP submissions.Generates new business opportunities through cross-sellingMay handle day-to-day administrative activities for clients - primarily to answer questions and issue resolutionAudits all documents sent to the client for review or signature. This includes, but is not limited to stop loss policy, plan documents, amendments, and administrative service agreementsCompletes and audits all internal documents in an accurate and timely manner. These include but are not limited to, commission sheets, group sheets, coverage pages, etc.Assists with the formulation and execution of policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives within the designated area of specialty.Researches and understands industry trends, product development government regulationsCultivates and sustains reliable working relationships with carriers, and other service providers.Oversees issue resolution between the Client and the Vendor PartnersConducts employee enrollment meetings as requested by the clientMentors and trains junior-level staffPerforms other responsibilities and duties as needed

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalentHigh School diploma or recognized equivalent is requiredTypically more than 3+ years of Client Services experience is requiredThorough knowledge of employee benefits insurance and self-funding, required
Preferred Skills:
Proficient in Ease, Employee Navigator, Selerix, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe and able to use multiple technology devicesAbility to perform duties in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentHigh degree of critical thinking, organizational, and decision-making skills as well as a high degree of initiative and attention to detail.Ability to determine work priorities and remain flexible as needs and priorities changeProfessional telephone skills and etiquetteStrong verbal and interpersonal communication skills requiredSelf-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or teamAbility to apply basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and divisionAbility to apply mathematical operations to required tasksExcellent oral and written communication skills, command of the English language, and bilingual Spanish would be preferredMaintain a valid, Life and Health License or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment and meet the continuing education requirementsAbility to work outside of normal business hours as needed
